Headquarters & Service Co., 2nd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment,
2nd Marine Division, Fleet Marine Force, MCB Camp Lejeune, NC

After Basic Training at MCRD Parris Island, South Carolina followed by Advanced Infantry Training at MCB Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Don completed additional training as a Field Artillery Fire Control Man and was assigned to the 10th Marines where he served until his discharge.

Enlisted 13 August 1953, Albany, NY - Honorably Discharged 10 March 1958, MCB Camp Lejeune, NC
