1. Van Spanckeren General Store Marker
Inscription. Built in 1849 and restored in 1968 with modifications to simulate an early Pella general store. This building was at one time a blacksmith's shop and is now the Van Spanckeren General Store. Tie rods were installed and the year added on the front of the building in 1853.
