Inscription.

The first church was a two-story brick building built in 1864. Its cornerstone was retained when the building was torn down in 1893 to build a larger and more suitable edifice. The Reverend I. M. Gable, a student of architecture, was the pastor who drew the plans and supervised the erection of the present church. Two large glass lighted crosses still exist on the church tower.

Erected 2007 by Mahanoy Area Historical Society.
