Inscription. Grocer Fred Welsh was the first owner of this home which was built in 1894 during the early development of the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. This Queen Anne style cottage has elaborate wooden decoration including delicate brackets, shingles and turned porch columns. The house was restored by the Davis family in 1981.
