1. Swans Club, Inc Marker
Organized in October of 1952 by a group of educators who worked at Washington Elementary School. The mission of the organization is to provide humanitarian services to enhance community life. The biennial debutante ball is a social highlight for Kenner. The City of Kenner Council passed a Resolution on February 2, 2006 recognizing the organization for their significance in the history of Kenner.
