U. S. Coast Guard Air Sea Rescue

A career USCG flight mechanic, Dave served on both HH3F and HH-601 helicopters. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for the longest rescue on record without refueling over 600 miles to Bermuda. He also flew numerous drug interdiction missions within the Bahamian and Caribbean waters, with several successful drug busts.

Enlisted 16 February 1982, Binghamton, NY - Retired 1 August 2003, Clearwater, FL.
