A Blue Jacket's Choirman in Boot Camp Batch later completed training in Basic Propulsion & Engineering and Boilerman Class A School. He completed two Mediterranean cruises aboard the Ingram, a Forrest Sherman class destroyer. He later served at sea aboard the Lace, a Farragut-class decommissioning team.
