U.S. Army Mortuary, 1st Logistics Command, Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Saigon, RVN

A Memorial Activities Specialist, after Basic Training, followed by Memorial Activities School at Fort Lee, Virginia, Dale was assigned so the school as an Instructor. Later, in November 1966, he deployed to Vietnam where he served as an Identification Specialist preparing remains for the final journey home. Upon his rotation back to the states in November 1969 he served as Supervisor, Mortuary Operations at Fort Campbell, Kentucky until his discharge.
