The board of education chose to consolidate with the Wapakoneta school district in 1965. The class of 1966 was the last class to graduate from this building. It then became the local elementary school until 2009 when a new elementary school was built on Reichelderfer Road. For seventy years, more than 2,600 students were educated in this building. Today the site is Legacy Park - dedicated to the learning, accomplishments, friendships, and memories that happened here. May this space continue to be a legacy to future generations in Cridersville. , Granite donated by John and Steve Johns
