A Naval Aviator & Marine Corps CH-46 Sea Knight Helicopter Pilot. Beamer also served in the 2nd and 3rd Marine Aircraft Wings, and 4th Marine Division. During his career he served in the Western Pacific, South Vietnam, Mediterranean Sea, North Africa; and, U. S. Marine Corps facilities In New River, NC, El Toro, CA, New Orleans, LA and Washington, DC.

Enlisted September 1968 - Commissioned June 1969 - Designated a Naval Aviator October 1970-Retired July 1992
