A Communication Center Specialist with military intelligence, Tonsee served both in Italy and Vietnam; and, was awarded the Bronze Star for "outstanding meritorious service in connection with military operations against a hostile force In the Republic of Vietnam."

Honorably Discharged 7 October 1968, USAPC, Oakland, CA
