Historic Bain Academy
Tina Ross, chair of Historic Bain Restoration, led efforts to save the building, but it was demolished in 2020 after a bond referendum failed. The legacy of John Bain, who is buried in the adjoining cemetery, lives on through the alumni of historic Bain Academy.
