1. National Register Application/Approval.
The Lever Building is a three story brick and terra cotta structure with elaborate entablature and balustrade. Although first floor storefront has been altered, cast iron pilasters on far sides of building and denticulated cornice extending the width of building survived.

2. Historic Columbia site.
In 1903, contractor C.M. Lide, Jr. erected this Classic Revival style building as part of an early-20th century spate of new construction that altered Main Street’s character through the introduction of new landmark buildings.
