On Veteran's Day, Nov. 11, 1968, in ceremonies commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Nov. 11th, 1918 Armistice, this living memorial was dedicated to all who served in the United States Armed Forces during World War I. May the Torch of Freedom always burn bright.
