1. Wagon Wheel Marker
Inscription. Before the coming of the automobile, horseback and wagons were used for the transportation of people and goods. A wagon maker, like Rudolf Oldiges, made all the parts by hand and was a vital part of our community. Horse drawn wagons were still in use on farms in the 1940's. This wagon wheel did important work for a farmer east of town.
