2nd Marine Division, 2nd AntiTank Battalion

Embarked with H&S Co., 2nd Ant/Tank Bn. aboard the USS Rankin during the Cuban Missile Crisis, he was also privleged to serve at Marine Barracks, 8th & 1, Washington, DC as a member of the Ceremonial Guard Company's Silent Drill Platoon & Camp David Security Detail. He provided security for Presidents Eisenhower & Kennedy, security for President Eisenhower for six weeks at the summer White House, Newport, RI and was a guard at President Kennedy's 1961 Inauguration.
