220th Field Artillery Battalion, 44th Infantry Division, 7th Army

M-1 Rifle qualified, John served in his 105mm Howitzer battalion as a Supply Clerk during and after the war in Central Europe.

Inducted 13 October 1944 at Albany, NY - Honorably Discharged 21 July 1946 at Ft, Dix, NJ
