A PRC-10 Radio Operator for his company operating in the Iron Triangle, encompassing an area both of above and below the 38th Parallel near the Imjin River and including Chorwan and Wejonbu, Harold routinely operated from a jeep with an officer and driver. During his service in Korea, he enjoyed the camaraderie of his fellow soldiers, however, the giant rats, which routinely came Into their B-man bunkers at night, were a constant source of annoyance.
