Built by legendary Berkeley architect William Charles Hays, Wonderland was designed as a creative sanctuary to soak in the history and wonder of the world. This California Coastal Oak was planted on Jan. 3, 1918 as two trees that united as one. Legend has it that when you whisper your wish to the giving tree on Derby Street, and smile as you pass by the wishing wall, your dreams will come true.
