Aiken County Courthouse Bell
Forged in 1882 at the Meneely Bell Foundry Troy, N.Y., the bell hung in the cupola of the Aiken County Courthouse 1882 to 1981.
In 1981, lightning cracked the bell, and caused a fire that destroyed the courthouse's cupola.
