US Naval Submarine Base, New London, CT

After initial training at the Naval Training Centers at Sampson and Gulfport, Cecil completed basic submarine training, as well as, basic engineering, submarine diesels and damage control. He served at Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, Connecticut until his discharge after WWII ended.

Honorably Discharged 20 Oct 1945, PSC Sampson, NY
