1st Marine Division

An amphibian tractor crewman, mortar man and machine gunner, Bill fought on Peleliu and Okinawa and served in China during WWII. Discharged after WWII he was recalled to active duty for the Korean conflict where he drove Jeeps and trucks at MCB Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
