Specialist Four, U. S. Army - Vietnam
Company "A", 40th Signal Battalion, 1st Signal Brigade

Trained as a Lineman at Ft. Gordon, GA, Harry was later assigned to the 40th Signal Battalion at Ft. Bragg, NC. The battalion deployed to Vietnam aboard a naval troop carrier along with elements of the 5th Cavalry. Headquartered at Long Binh, Vietnam, Company "A" provided construction & maintenance of wire/cable circuits, installed telephone poles, above and underground cable & telephone lines, often in various in-country locations.

Inducted 20 December 1965 - Honorably Discharged 12 December 1967, Fort Meade, MD
