Sergeant, U.S. Army - World War II
763rd Railway Operating Battalion, 69th Infantry Division

Bruce was an M1 Carbine Sharpshooter and Tool Room Keeper. He served and saw combat in Central Europe and the Rhineland, specifically France and the Battle of the Bulge. While in London Bruce was wounded when a buzz bomb hit the railroad car he was in. Later and just prior to his discharge, he was attached to Company "B", 518th Military Police Battalion.

Inducted 27 May 1943, Utica, NY - Honorably Discharged 13 April 1946, Fr. Dix, NJ
