Central Europe, Rhineland, Rome-Arno & Southern France Campaigns

A Motor Transportation non-commissioned officer by the end of the war, Ben rose through the ranks fighting with the 575th, one of five B Gun (Heavy, MI Towed Howitzer) battalions assigned to the European Theater of Operations.

Inducted 18 April 1942 at Utica, NY - Honorably Discharged 9 October 1945, Fort Dix, NJ
