Alfred gained the recognition of his superiors in the chain of command throughout his career as an Intelligent, adaptable, courageous and highly effective leader. He was cited multiple times, both for heroism and valor in combat, as well as, mertorious service in high level command and staff positions while serving in the Continental U.S., Hawall, Vietnam and the Panama Canal Zone.

Entered Active Duty 23 March 1954, Bronx, NY - Retired 2 May 1973. Fort Leavenworth, KS
