Here at this location on September 2, 1943 at the headquarters of Secular Scouting Association of France, which was banned by the Nazi occupiers, occurred the arrest by the Gestapo of its leader, Pierre Dejean. Born in 1912, Dejean was a member of the French Resistance, a Second Lieutenant of French fighting forces Mithridates Network. He was deported and died in Mauthausen, August 18, 1944.
