Port Isabel in Cameron County, Texas — The American South (West South Central)
Veterans' Park Walls of Honor
For upon this venerable memorial, is engraved forever, the names of the
braves in the Laguna Madre area, American Patriots who honorably
rendered absolute loyalty for country and a Democratic Republic.
We gratefully bestow a special tribute to these fearless warriors, these
sentries of freedom who enlisted their lives for the preservation of
America and her preeminent Constitution.
We salute those who in combat and service to country, gallantly shed
blood on domestic and on foreign soil for the sake of our Freedom!
To those consummate protectors of American Liberty, who bravely gave their lives in battle for America. We, reverently, extend our external gratitude.
