Rocklin in Placer County, California — The American West (Pacific Coastal)
Rocklin Hose Company No. 1
Rocklin’s city trustees shared the office area with the city marshal and a small library. However, the building was best known as the firehouse and as the home for the fire hose carts. Volunteer firefighters of the Rocklin Hose Company attached hoses to hydrants to put out fires.
Too small to meet the needs of the growing city, the original structure was vacated and demolished circa 1944. This replica of the building was completed by the Rocklin Historical Society in 2017.
