Inscription.
The Famous Lasky Players Company rented a barn in the suburb of Los Angeles, Hollywoodland, for the price of $200 per month at this location. Here they finally began to shoot their film The Squaw Man. For years it was on the verge of being torn down, but the barn was kept on the studio grounds. It has served many purposes over the years including a studio gymnasium and train station set for the popular western TV series Bonanza. The location of the now famous "Lasky Barn" was originally in this intersection, however it has now been relocated and preserved as The Hollywood Heritage Museum near the Hollywood Bowl.
