Sherrill house is an unusual one story, triple pile, weatherboarded bungalow built between 1913 and 1915.…

The lot was sold to Sherrill, a machinist, and his wife Bertha by her father John S. Setzer. It was part of a larger tract of land which John S. Setzer and his wife bought in 1892. The Sherrills paid $1,400 for the lot in 1913. They apparently rented the house for a number of years between the late 1920s and late 1930s when they lived in Bertha's parents' home. Later, they returned to their house and lived in it at least until 1950.
