In de middeleeuwen stond hier op een groter perceel het stadskasteel Huis van Borselen. Van 1632 tot 1644 stond hier het huis van Mr Willem van Alphen, secretaris Hof van Holland, auteur van Papagay ofte Formulieren-Boek van allerhande requesten, mandamanten, conclusien, schrifturen, als anders, in de dagelijksche Pracktijke dienende voor de respectieve Hoven van Justitie in Holland. In 1644 gekocht door Dr Cornelis Triglandius, predikant en leraar godsdienst-geschiedenis van Prins Willem III de Stadhouder-Koning. 1699 koop door Anna Bidé, weduwe Pierre Bigot seigneur de St Pierre, thesaurier van de Zwitserse Guardes te Frankrijk. 1732 koop door Willem Faget van Assendelft, majoor der Cavalerie. In 1808 eigendom van Mr Apollonius Jan Cornelis baron Lampsins, heer van Swieten, bewindhebber West-Indische Compagnie, directeur kolonie Suriname, baljuw van Vlissingen, lid Grote Vergadering der Notabelen, lid commissie tot het formuleren van een grondwet, geheimraad en kamerheer van Koning Frederik Willem IV van Pruisen, lid Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal, lid Ridderschap van Zeeland, kamerheer i.b.d. van Koning

Willem I, ridder in de Orde van de Nederlandse Leeuw en ridder in de Orde van de Welfen. Van 1872 tot 1926 eigendom van verschillende leden van het Dordtse geslacht Repelaer, waaronder Jhr Mr Paulus Repelaer, heer van Spijkenisse, lid van de raad van Dordrecht, rendant polders Nieuw Bonaventura, Mookhoek, Trekdam en Alblasserwaard, Jhr Ocker Arnold Repelaer en de freules Maria Jacoba Hendrica en Hendrica Françoise Alida Repelaer. 1930 vestiging Veilinggebouw "Lange Voorhout". 1937 vestiging Kunstzaal Louis Meys. 1943 Vestiging Rijkscontrôledienst van de Steunverleening van het Ministerie van Sociale Zaken. 1953 vestiging bibliotheek van het Ministerie van Marine. 1973 vestiging Stichting Gemeenschappelijke Pers Dienst. Sindsdien bestemd tot kantoorruimte.

Purchased in 1644 by Dr. Cornelis Triglandius, preacher and teacher of religious history to Prince Willem III the Stadtholder-King. 1699 purchased by Anna Bidé, the widow of Pierre Bigot, Seigneur de St. Pierre, treasurer of the Swiss Guards in France. 1732 purchased by Willem Faget van Assendelft, Major of the Cavalry.
