Timeline of Liberty. . Created in 2004 to commemorate the restoration of the Jeffersonville Carnegie Library, the Timeline reflects 2,500 years of contributions to the liberty and dignity of man. The has reliefs showcase portraits of history's legends of democracy and freedom. The timeline begins with four sages of Greece: Thales, Solon, Bias and Cleisthenes, and concludes with Lord Acton, who wrote "History of Freedom" Nationally renowned artist Lorenzo E. Ghiglieri created the bronze timeline.
