This building was the location of the Victor H. Bulleit (1848-1916) and Sons implement and carriage showroom. Mrs. Jennie May remodeled the building in 1937 and in 1947 the A&P Grocery moved here from the corner of Capitol and Chestnut Streets. At that time a beauty shop and a print shop were located on the second floor. The A & P remained a fixture in Corydon until it ceased operations in 1974. The next year the Ideal Cafeteria expanded into the space and later became "Granny's Ideal Cafeteria." After the cafeteria closed in 1998, the Corydon Moose Lodge #2493 moved in and soon grew to more than two hundred members.
