There is a twin marker on the reverse side.
Inscription. This is the former residence of popular band leader Edward B. Conde, editorialized as the “John Philip Souza of Stockton”. Conde brought distinction to this city with his much acclaimed musical organizations. He formed the famed Stockton Boys’ Band in 1900 and the Stockton City Band in 1927
