1. Jewelers Row Marker

Inscription. Since the early 1900s, Jewelers Row has been an important center of jewelry, silver, and watch manufacturing and trade. These distinguished loft buildings and early 20th-century skyscrapers also reflect the development of Chicago commercial architecture.

The marker is above the valet stand umbrella in the center of the photo. The Wabash Street elevated train tracks ("L) are to the left; the Trump International Hotel and Tower is the tallest building in the background.
