Perry County was established by an act of the state legislature signed by
Governor William Findlay
March 22, 1820
The first court house
A log building located north east of this church, was rented by the county for $50.00 a year. All other county offices were located in the homes of the officials.

March 22, 1970 was a cold snowy day, but warmth was abundant in the hearts of all who attended in appreciation of our freedom loving ancestors.
