Inscription. Constructed ca. 1840-1865. Outstanding group of early 19th century Classical style offices. Early occupants were noted for their contributions to the political and judicial history of the area and the state.
 
Erected 1979 by The Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism; Alexander Stirling Chapter Daughters of The American Revolution (DAR).
