Flats commissioned Arts of Life to create the 24 art panels under their community arts organization FlatsStudio displayed in the second-floor windows of the Bush Temple, installed in November 2020. Founded in 2000, Arts of Life is the first program in Chicago to provide vocational opportunities in the arts for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
