Sandy Hollow Heritage Park and Birmingham Hill are preserved open spaces that allow public access to a portion of the Brandywine Battlefield National Historic Landmark. The most intense fighting of the Battle of Brandywine took place here at Sandy Hollow on September 11, 1777.

Birmingham Township honors patriots, past and present, whose courage and valor support the cause of liberty.
