1. Old Pass Christian High School Marker
Inscription. Built in 1936, the Old Pass Christian High School was located here. Designed by the local architectural firm of Shaw and Woleben, the main school building was a one-story, U-shaped brick building with a columned Federalesque entrance portico and a copula capping its gabled roof. Robin Roberts, anchor of ABC's show “Good Morning America,” graduated here in 1979. Damaged by Hurricane Georges in 1998, the school was destroyed during Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
