Regarding Berryhill House. Excerpt from the National Register nomination:
The Berryhill House is an excellent example of Queen Anne architecture and is one of Magnolia's four Queen Anne residences. In addition, it is the only one of the city's extant Queen Anne residences located outside of the prosperous Southtown neighborhood and in Magnolia's more modest northern neighborhood and serves as a stylistic model of the Queen Anne style for the northern section of town. The Berryhill residence exhibits many high-style Queen Anne details such as monumental tower, a wrap-around porch with a second-story balustraded porch, and decorative stickwork and is an outstanding building within the context of Magnolia's historic resources.
