Nudre Strandgate 1
Skipperforeningen
Byggeån: 1907
Byggberre: J. Bere og A. Sekkesaeter
Arkitekt: H. Jens Zetlitz Monrad Kielland

Nudre Strandgate 1
The skipper association
Built: 1907
Builder: J. Bere and A. Sekkesaeter
Architect: H. Jens Zetlitz Monrad Kielland
Current Owners: Aalesund's Skipper Association
Built as a business and residential building. Taken over by Aalesund's Skipper Association in 1933. Parts of the house are used as a meeting and party rooms for this association. Otherwise, the building is used for office and shops. On the ground floor, one of the city's very latest bookbinders, Rolf Knoblauch, had a workshop until the mid-1980s. The house adds nicely to the Rekon of representative Art Nouveau buildings from the restoration period after Bybraunen (1904).
Erected 1997 by Lions Club.
