Built in 1897
by J. S. McFadyen
Mr. McFadyen built several of the town’s early buildings including the first jail & council chamber in 1904.

workable museum. The renovations included the building of a completely new section at the rear of the house to provide the necessary offices and services required. The museum opened in the new building unofficially to the public in December of 1987.
