Walker Brothers Store
The Walker Brothers, James T., Daniel, and Ephraim moved a building owned by Isaac Barton across the street to this location and opened their store. The home you see here now was remodeled from that original building. They opened the store in 1891 and it was in operation until the 1920s. They had the only telephone in town installed and when messages needed to be delivered, James T's daughters, Martha and Golda, would take them to the recipients.
