Die französische Partnerstadt Issy-les-Moulineaux liegt im Südwesten von Paris und hat 65.000 Einwohner. Die erste Begegnung zwischen den Oberbürgermeistern fand im September 1954 auf einem Kongress der internationalen Bürgermeister-Union in Braunschweig statt. 1962 wurde dann die offizielle Partnerschaft zwischen Issy-les-Moulineaux und Weiden in der Oberpfalz geschlossen.

Issy-les-Moulineaux (France)
The French twin town of Issy-les-Moulineaux is located in the southwest of Paris and has 65,000 inhabitants. The first meeting between the mayors took place in September 1954 at a congress of the international mayors' union in Braunschweig. In 1962 the official partnership between Issy-les-Moulineaux and Weiden in der Oberpfalz was concluded.

2. Issy-Les-Moulineaux-Platz Marker
one of Paris's entrances and is located 6.6 km (4.1 mi) from Notre Dame Cathedral, which is considered Kilometre Zero in France. On 1 January 2010, Issy-les-Moulineaux became part of the Grand Paris Seine Ouest agglomeration community, which merged into the Métropole du Grand Paris in January 2016.
