Turm und Pegnitzüberbauung waren Teil der vorletzten Stadtmauer und dienten den Nürnberger Henkern vom 15. bis zum 18. Jahrhundert als Wohnung. Das Henkerhaus bietet heute nicht nur einen einzigartigen Ausblick auf die historische Umgebung, sondern auch eine Ausstellung zur Rechts- und Kriminalgeschichte dieser Zeit.

The tower and the building spanning the northern arm of the Pegnitz were part of the penultimate city wall. They served as living quarters for the Nuremberg executioners from the 15th to the 18th century. Today, the executioner's house offers not only a unique view of the historical surroundings but also an exhibition on the legal and criminal history of this period.
