Inscription. This historic structure, circa 1791, is the oldest known commercial building in Fayetteville. It was restored as a community service by Fayetteville's hometown newspaper.

Marker is at building entrance, below hanging "shingle" at left distance in photo. Other Liberty Point markers, Cross Creek and First Presbyterian Church markers are inside fenced area in foreground. Looking west along Person Street.
