The Palace Duo Aerial (Cradle) Act, Hans and Rosie Rode, received the Golden Award at the Canadian International Circus in Mexico City for their thrilling performance in 1971.
Then in 1972 the family opened the old Heidelberg Castle here in Sarasota at the corner of Fruitville and Highway 301, presenting live entertainment in a unique German setting, with all their children and grandchildren working and performing on the trampoline.
