Following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, many of our service members helped contribute towards counterterrorism efforts.
Despite its complexity and multidimensional campaign, the war on terrorism serves as a reminder to recognize the individuals that protected and watched over us.
We are forever in debt to their devotion and loyalty.
Their actions are not in vain.
